It’s that time of the month when I get giddy because I get to write to you once again. This was a very mid week for me. I hope your week was better than mine. I didn’t get any good Netflix recommendations so I decided to watch Miraculous Ladybug again from start to finish. I did not regret it. The show is so nice and addicting. Yes, it’s a bit childish and sometimes predictable but it’s enjoyable. It’s about this Parisian duo of superheroes, Ladybug and Cat Noir whose real identities must remain a secret no matter what. My favorite part of the show is the love rectangle. Adrien which is Cat Noir’s real name, is in love with Ladybug, and Marinette who is Ladybug, is in love with Adrian but they can never be together because they think they are in love with other people. I really love tragic love stories. I still need movie recommendations though.
Tell me about your week and whether you need any help, advice, mentoring, or just someone to chat with. I’m especially excited to tell you about my tools for the week so I’m going to start with that just this once. Sit back and enjoy😋.
Tools of the week…
1. Believe it or not, I just learnt about Chrome Marketplace. If you don’t know about it, it’s a website where you can install extensions for your Chrome browser.
The first extension I got was a Custom Cursor extension and now I use spiderman to click buttons🤭.
I also got the Font finder extension to help me get the font style, color, decoration, and size of any text on any webpage.
I also found Eye Dropper really useful. It’s used to get hex and RGB values of any color on any webpage.
There are many more useful extensions you can try.
2. I’ve always been scared of coding. I just concluded that coding isn’t for me, but then, ironically, I started teaching kids how to code and I started practicing what I taught and now I’m not so scared of coding. Here are some beginner-friendly sites you can start learning blocked-based programming with:
Javascript basics: Code.org
HTML: Codemoji Code.org
CSS: Code.org
Scratch: Scratch web app and you can get project ideas and guides from Raspberry
Python: Code Monkey, VEXcodeVR
3. I needed a way to get HTML links to images from my laptop and I was able to do that by uploading them and hosting them on imgbb.com then copying the full HTML link.
Don’t hesitate to reply if you have any questions about any of these tools.

I honestly don’t know what to expect from ASUU and FG concerning this strike. They have just been using us to play. This week I heard all sorts. First it was that they had a meeting that didn’t end so well and then ASUU swore that the real strike was just about to start, then I heard that FG said they want to ban ASUU, and then I even heard that FG gave ASUU 100 billion and the strike would soon be called off. At this point, I don’t even know again. Anyhow sha, heads or tails, we will be fine.
As usual, please share this with your friends, and follow us on our social media handles via the button below.
